"Band Leader Paul Gregoire avec Roux du Bayou Cajun band" plays authentic cajun/zydeco/swamp pop music which is native to south Louisiana. Their high-energy style has brought them repeated engagement at a variety of quality venues across the mid north and southeastern states. The band's leader is Paul Gregoire on accordian and vocals. He is from the small village of Dulac, La. and also the sub-accordian player for Cajun Star and Grand Ole Opry member Jimmy C. Newman. On guitar and vocals is south Louisiana native Wade Bernard who has performed and recorded with Jimmy C. Newman, Joel Sonnier, Ronnie McDowell and various country and cajun artists along with writing and recording his own cajun french music. Rounding out the group on fiddle from Nashville, Tn. Jimmy Clark, on drums from Biloxi, Ms. Jerry Prevost, on bass from Columbus, Ga. Al Henderson. This is Roux du Bayou, Louisiana Cajun, Zydeco and Swamp music at its best!!!
